The Board of Commissioners is an active participant in Ida-Ore Planning Association, the Idaho Association of Counties and the Private Industry Council.

The Commissioners are involved in the funding of the Central District Health Department in conjunction with Ada, Boise and Valley Counties. Many senior citizens and low income families benefit from the programs offered by Central District Health.

The County is working with the City of Glenns Ferry regarding impact areas
such as 911 services, law enforcement, and departmental services.
9. Accessing and Utilizing State & Federal Programs
The County is working with Southwest Idaho Private Industry Council and the Department of Juvenile Corrections on a variety of programs

Glenns Ferry

Council meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers.

Local government is actively seeking new industry to re-locate to Glenns Ferry and is willing to help businesses relocate.
5. Cooperation Between City and Local Agencies
The City and local agencies cooperate fully. Example: The City of Glenns Ferry and King Hill Irrigation District cooperate by using some of the same irrigation lines to deliver services.

At this time Glenns Ferry does not require business licenses.
