High school students like Jan from Germany and Ji Na from South Korea arrive in the United States in August with PAX – Program of Academic Exchange.

Together with boys and girls from Italy, Thailand, Brazil, Serbia, France, Russia, and many other countries, students like Jan and Ji Na are interested in living with an American family and attending an American high school for the upcoming academic year.  All PAX students speak English, have full medical insurance, and come with their own spending money.

Host families come in all shapes and sizes!  All are welcome to apply including single parents, young couples, and retirees.  Families need only provide a place for students to sleep and study, meals, and a warm, supportive environment.

For more information call the PAX National Office at 1-800-555-6211.  Gina Darty, PAX Community Coordinator in Mountain Home is available to meet with you with profiles of students, like Jan and Ji Na, and to help you choose who you think would make a wonderful new addition to your family for the academic year!
